These inspired artists have not tried to integrate their act of creation into a broader global approach. We call this phenomenon “the drying up of inspiration.” This is a very common phenomenon among artists, whether singers, writers, painters, or sculptors. It was as if their source of inspiration had dried up. They had refrained from trying new ideas. Yet, when we looked at their artistic production a year or two later, we found that they simply copied and pasted their first set. We were continually inspired and refreshed by their approach. Since our beginnings in the photography business, we have had the opportunity to meet many photographers during festivals or exhibitions who presented extraordinary series. However, these guidelines are not enough.
